In 2021, there were almost 8,000 passenger car fires in Poland. None of these cases involved an electric vehicle. Despite this, the topic of the safety of zero-emission cars continues to return in public space, and many myths are growing around electromobility in the context of fires. The study initiates a substantive discussion on the fire safety of electric vehicles, stations and charging points, gathering reliable information on this subject in one place. The document is addressed to representatives of the automotive sector as well as public administration, relevant services and users of electric vehicles.
