The portfolio of all-electric cars available on the Polish market has increased by more than a third in the last 12 months. Traction battery capacities and charging powers are also improving. According to the 6th edition of the PSPA’s ‘Electric Vehicle Catalogue’, the average range of all-electric passenger cars offered in nine market segments already exceeds 430 km (WLTP).
- A total of 108 all-electric vehicle models are available in Polish dealership showrooms – 83 of these are passenger variants and 25 are cargo vans.
- Compared to last year’s catalogue, the number of BEV models available for purchase increased by 38%
- Of the electric vehicles on offer, 73% of the models are capable of charging at speeds greater than 50 kW (51-350 kW).
- The highest ranges were recorded in the upper class (571 km) and the luxury class (510 km). The middle-class cars ended 2022 with a range of 496 km.
The Polish Alternative Fuels Association (PSPA) has presented the 6th edition of its annual “Electric Vehicle Catalogue” report. The publication contains a list of all-electric vehicle (BEV) models available for sale in Poland. It presents, among others, the prices of vehicles and their detailed technical parameters. Also included are plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) offered in the country. This year’s catalogue partner is the charging station producer GARO.
The prepared study shows that the number of electric cars available is increasing rapidly year on year. Automotive companies offer 108 all-electric car models, an increase of 38% over the previous edition of the catalogue.
