Holcim Polska, the City of Warsaw, ORLEN, Volkswagen Group Polska, the OLX Group and OTOMOTO have won the main awards in the “New Mobility Leader 2026” competition. Through the scale of their activities, their consistent efforts and their tangible impact on the market, these organisations are helping shape the direction of new mobility in Poland. The Polish New Mobility Association (PSNM) and PwC also presented nine commendations. The awards ceremony took place on 24 September in Katowice, during the gala held on the second day of the New Mobility Congress.
The “New Mobility Leader” competition, organised since 2018, recognises organisations that not only implement sustainable transport solutions but also influence the pace and direction of market transformation. This year’s winners represent different parts of the ecosystem, from industry and infrastructure to automotive, services and urban development, demonstrating that new mobility is becoming an important driver of economic and social development.
“This year’s competition shows that new mobility in Poland is moving beyond a collection of individual projects and becoming an increasingly mature economic ecosystem. The transformation now encompasses not only vehicles and charging infrastructure, but also industry, energy, cities, logistics, services, research and development, and skills. The ability to bring these areas together will determine the pace of change and the competitiveness of the Polish economy in the years ahead. At PSNM, we want to recognise organisations that not only implement new technologies but also set the direction, build scalable models and demonstrate that the transition can simultaneously improve business efficiency, quality of life and the resilience of the entire transport system,” says Łukasz Witkowski, Vice-President of PSNM.
The competition results offer a broader perspective on market development than vehicle sales figures or the number of charging stations installed alone. The winners also include organisations developing servicing capabilities, safety testing and solutions for urban logistics. This supporting infrastructure helps reduce barriers to adopting new technologies and build confidence in them.
“The success of investments in electromobility also depends on what happens after a vehicle is purchased or a charging station is commissioned. Accessible servicing, effective power management and solutions tailored to how fleets are used are all essential. This year’s winners provide examples of this approach. Combining technology with expertise and efficient service creates the foundations for scaling up these initiatives,” says Piotr Michalczyk, Partner at PwC Poland.
Five Main Awards
The title of “New Mobility Leader 2026” was awarded to organisations implementing solutions across various areas of sustainable transport.
Holcim Polska – for implementing electromobility in the demanding conditions of heavy industry. The jury recognised the electrification of machinery and the development of charging infrastructure in cooperation with GreenWay. Initiatives at quarries and industrial plants are paving the way for reducing emissions from heavy equipment operations.
The City of Warsaw – for the consistent implementation of the New Centre of Warsaw project, which is restoring urban spaces for pedestrians, cyclists and public transport users. The award highlights the importance of combining the redevelopment of streets and squares with the development of sustainable mobility and improvements to residents’ everyday travel.
ORLEN – for expanding the nationwide ORLEN Charge network and investing in fast-charging infrastructure along major routes. Among the recognised projects was the charging hub at the Olsztynek Południe motorway service area, which can serve eight vehicles simultaneously. Its dynamic power allocation system helps ensure efficient service for electric vehicle drivers.
Volkswagen Group Polska – for expanding its range of electric vehicles and initiatives that make electromobility more accessible to a wider group of drivers. A distinguishing feature is the combination of product development with educational initiatives and user opinion research, which help dispel myths and enable informed decisions about switching to electric vehicles.
The OLX Group and OTOMOTO – for supporting the electric vehicle market by facilitating vehicle purchases and sales and providing the knowledge needed to make informed decisions. The jury also recognised research and educational initiatives, including the “Faktor E” report, which help improve understanding of drivers’ needs and the barriers to electromobility development.

Nine Commendations
The organisers also presented commendations recognising contributions to the development of charging infrastructure, public transport and services supporting the adoption of new mobility solutions.
The Municipality of Wałbrzych – for transforming public transport through the deployment of 20 hydrogen-powered buses, preparing further investments in zero-emission vehicles and introducing digital solutions that make public transport easier for passengers to use.
Tesla – for rapidly expanding its Supercharger network in Poland and combining high-speed charging with intuitive user experience and integrated journey planning.
EV REPAIR – for expanding its workshop network, training specialists in electric vehicle diagnostics and repairs, and developing the EV Repair Finder app to help drivers find suitable service providers.
ANWIM and MOYA energia – for expanding their charging networks, investing in multi-bay charging hubs, and integrating charging, fleet services and loyalty programmes into digital solutions for drivers and businesses.
Velohub – for developing urban consolidation centres and microhubs for deliveries using cargo bikes and light electric vehicles, as well as contributing to the GRETA project in Poznań, which brings together business, academia and local government.
Siemens – for advancing fast-charging technologies, including SICHARGE D charging stations, and implementing dynamic power management to improve the use of available energy and enable infrastructure to scale with growing demand.
Plugbox – for supplying AC and DC charging stations and providing end-to-end support for businesses, local authorities and investors, including installation, maintenance and charging infrastructure operations.
GreenWay Polska – for consistently expanding its charging infrastructure and securing a contract described by the jury as a record-breaking achievement in the history of the electric vehicle charging infrastructure sector in Central and Eastern Europe.
Łukasiewicz Research Network – Automotive Industry Institute (PIMOT) – for conducting safety research on electric vehicles, traction batteries and charging infrastructure, and providing engineering support to manufacturers developing and implementing safe transport solutions.
