The PSNM Self-Government Committee Wraps Up 2025!
Dozens of local governments participating in the Committee concluded the year with an intensive discussion on topics including:
🔹 The “Declaration for the Future of Polish Cities” developed during the New Mobility Congress,
🔹 The proposals for new mobility accompanying the declaration, which will be submitted to the central administration at the beginning of next year,
🔹 Paid Parking Zones – their purpose and the latest research in this area (thanks to Krzysztof Jałoszyński for presenting the findings from Sopot),
🔹 Developments in the SCT area (Kraków, Katowice),
🔹 Defining the key areas of the Committee’s activities for 2026.
The declaration will be shared with other organizations, inviting them to express support for its principles.
During the session, we also welcomed new member cities: Koszalin and Wałbrzych, as well as – to our great delight – a new Committee Board member: Piotr Borawski, MBA, Deputy Mayor of Gdańsk, an active participant in PSNM initiatives.
Equipped with new knowledge and energy, we are stepping into the next year of the PSNM Self-Government Committee’s work.
